Pipeline Identification

EX-STOCK PIPELINE MARKERS, CUSTOM MADE MARKERS AVAILABLE SIZE: 400x50mm 200x25mm

PURPOSE: To assist staff engineers and contractors in installation and maintenance of building and site pipework, and to assist staff induction and training.

PLACEMENT: Per NZS 5807:1980 1. Within 1 metre of each valve. 2. Near junctions. 3. In positions where hidden pipes reappear. 4. At maximum intervals of 8 metres on exposed pipe.

MATERIALS: 3M Scotchcal™ 3690 vinyl with heavy-duty adhesive and purpose-designed colour-coded screenprinting inks.

STANDARDS: NZS 5807:1980, AS 1345:1995

ORDERING: Order standard packs of 50 or specific quantities. Specify labels by name, bands and arrows by colour, and size.

APPLICATION Note: Surface temperature must be +5°C minimum. 1. Clear dirt and grease from pipe. 2. Clean pipe with suitable solvent. 3. Cut off unwanted flow arrow. 4. Peel label backing at one end and apply exposed adhesive squarely to pipe. 5. Peel backing off and smoothly apply rest of label. 6. Rub firmly onto pipe.
